Baja Weekender: Camping In Mexico Wine Country With Coast To Costa December 9-11

Join us for a weekend road trip December 9-11 with Coast to Costa down to some of Baja California’s up-and-coming hidden gems in the burgeoning vineyard region of the Guadalupe Valley!

Coast to Costa is not your Mami y Papi’s travel service. They will pick you up on a magic carpet* and takes you on a journey that can only be described as a full-on delicious assault of senses authentic to our destination. Coast to Costa ensures: a ridiculously enjoyable time, a guide whose native tongue is Spanish, zero mandatory anything, and above all, living like a true local for as long as you’re on the Coast to Costa carpet ride. * Not guaranteed

From Los Angeles, we’ll follow in Anthony Bourdain’s footsteps to a small ceviche stand in Ensenada, where piles of gloriously fresh sea urchin, snail, and octopus ceviche atop a flat crispy tostada await us. Then, we’ll toast each other at local Ensenada breweries before descending upon the Valle de Guadalupe where we’ll be first to camp on private land owned by One Bunk, a curator of modern day lodging experiences between San Diego and Mexico.

On Saturday, Shoestring Adventures will guide us on hike above a local vineyard to enjoy a breakfast of Mexican pastries and fresh fruit with an unbeatable view of the region. We’ll spend the rest of the day exploring Valle during Vendimia, the annual wine harvest celebration. We’ll end the day with a multi-course feast that’s grown fresh on local farms by award winning chefs, followed by campfire, stars and a good night’s rest.

Before returning to LA, we’ll visit a few more of Coast to Costa’s favorite local spots, including breakfast at a farm to table restaurant.

All in all, the perfect LA getaway after a long week at the office. Limited spots available, so register today!
