Over the past few months, Shoestring Adventures has quickly grown into an inspiring community of brave warriors, who celebrate each and every weekend as a victory!
Whether you camped for the first time, faced your fear of heights on a steep trail, showed up without knowing a single soul and left with five new friends, started a campfire on your own or slept outside your tent under the stars (and the threat of scorpions), we are so grateful to continue sharing these experiences with you.
To celebrate, please join us on the evening of June 3 for the official launch of Shoestring Adventures at a secret location in Downtown Los Angeles, the root of our weekend wanderings.
We are proud to present our first Weekend Warrior Showcase, a photo gallery featuring your adventures! For a chance to have your photo appear in the show, tag your new and old weekend adventures #SHOESTRINGWARRIOR on Instagram by 5/22!
Winners will be selected by photographer Cameron Gardner and myself. We are proud to partner with our local print shop Art Printer to beautifully display the photos.
Prints will be for sale, and proceeds will benefit the SAMO Fund, providing field trips for kids from urban Los Angeles communities to the Santa Monica Mountains. * If you prefer, you’re welcome to take home your print after the show.
