Joshua Tree Break Away Weekend November 20-22

Shoestring Adventures and Dragonfly Direction present Break Away Weekend: No Boundaries, No Boys, a special retreat just for women in Joshua Tree National Park November 20-22!

With all the deadlines and family obligations during the holiday season, when is there time to set meaningful New Years resolutions for yourself? Before the madness begins, break away with us to the desert, an open space to breathe deeply, connect with like-minded women and reflect on who you are and what you want beyond the boundaries of everyday life.

Joshua Tree National Park is located in Southern California where the Mojave and the Colorado deserts meet, producing a unique landscape with a rich diversity of life. Most famously, Joshua Trees grow throughout the park, playfully greeting visitors with their crooked arms. November is a pleasant time of year to visit the park and escape the East Coast cold!

Alyx of Shoestring Adventures will teach you everything you need to become a confident outdoorswoman, from setting up a tent to building a campfire, and guide you on several stunning hikes under a desert blue sky.

The open desert will set the stage for an introspective workshop with Heather Bischoff of Dragonfly Direction, who’s life work is to help women understand their potential without labels and restrictions. She provides Intentional Direction for Intentional Women with compassion, gentleness and care. Get a head start on setting your New Year’s resolutions before you dive into the holiday season.

No experience necessary. The first 2 women to register will receive a complimentary 3-day gear rental from GetOutfitted (tent + sleeping bag + pad), a $79 value for FREE. Only 7 spots left, so register today!
